History
The Warriors Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps (WADBC) Inc. was founded in the Spring of 2014 by veteran members of the New York City Mission Society Cadet Corps Warriors Drum and Bugle Corps, which was founded in 1937. As a collective commitment, the mission of the organization is to establish a marching music educational opportunity to provide an inter-generational, developmental experience for youths, young adults and adults in the Marching and Performing Arts of America experience known as Drum & Bugle Corps. The goal is to provide a range of developmental training, from introductory to advanced instruction on various musical instruments, as well as training in the expressive physical and visual arts within the context of military precision. It is our philosophy that a structured, positive and fertile inter-generational, artistic environment serves as a catalyst for the development of positive, high achieving, productive adults and citizens in our society.
